CIR-641L
一、Introduction:
WIC-641L is a complete iron control system for oilwell acidizing .This product uses field-proven technology to minimize iron-induced sludging and precipitation problems in all types of acid treatments.WIC-641L contains a powerful iron-reducing agent and a catalyst for rapid reduction of ferric iron into relatively harmless ferrous iron.
WIC-641l is effective as a stand-alone or primary iron-control agent in all acid systems, subject to the strength and temperature limitations mentioned below . iron problems are usually seen when acidizing through unpickled, or uncoated, tubular goods.
The two common iron problems are sludge formation, when live acid-containing ferric iron contacts many crude oils, and precipitation of iron-containing solids as acid-containing ferric iron spends, by reducing ferric to a more controllable ferrous iron, WIC-641L is effective against either of these damage mechanism and may be used in oil, gas, or injection wells. As with any chemical, pilot testing is recommended.

四、Usage:
The most commonly used loading of WIC-641L is 3 gal/1000gal of acid. This ratio will quickly reduce about 1350 ppm of ferric iron. For testing , a ratio of 3:1 (ferrous: ferric)total iron is recommended. this ratio is more representative of downhole environments as the acid arrives at the formation; however, actual WIC-641L concentrations should be based on the estimated iron content to be encountered.
五、Limitations
WIC-641L will not give complete iron reduction in hydrochloric acid (HCL) greater than 24% strength. This product should not be used at bottomhole temperatures exceeding 93℃。
六、Packing:
1. Package: plastic barrel, net weight 200kg ± 0.5kg.
2. Transport: during transport, care, and to avoid damage.
3. Storage: Storage ventilation to prevent exposure to date, since the production of the storage period of two years.
